Unique Features of the Dash

Concept

Developed to accomplish two primary objectives:

Reduce fill times to keep the sprayer spraying.

Keep chemicals separated to guarantee chemical efficacy.

The DASH automates chemical mixing and cleaning, reducing the possibility for human error, decreasing the time needed to fill a sprayer, and increasing overall sprayer productivity.

Design

The DASH has two pumps; a high-volume water pump with a 13hp Honda motor rated at 430 GPM, and an air-diaphragm pump capable of 40 GPM used for auto rinsing and agitating dry products. Separate inductors allow operators to load multiple products in advance of a fresh sprayer load while maintaining chemical separation.

Once chemicals are loaded into their respective inductors and the sprayer is attached, the fill and rinse process can be operated from one central ground-level location beside the trailer.

With the DASH connected to the sprayer, chemicals can be delivered to the sprayer through the operation of centrally located, ground-level controls. Chemicals can be delivered to the sprayer individually by activating the control handle corresponding to their respective inductor. As the control handle is activated two valves are opened. One valve at the bottom of the inductor is opened unloading chemicals, under suction, into the main water stream. A second valve opens to activate the inductor rinse head, rinsing and unloading the inductor simultaneously. Each inductor can unload in approximately 15 seconds; including a rinse cycle that ensures complete chemical delivery and the elimination of chemical residue buildup.

Based on testing and customer feedback, the process of loading 4 different chemicals into a 1,200-gallon sprayer takes less than 4 minutes.

CENTER MOUNT

The DASH 1.6 is the newest addition to the DASH family, boasting the capability to grow with your operation by daisy chaining Primary and multiple Secondary units to fit your requirements.

2.6 dash

CENTER MOUNT

This configuration of the DASH is designed to mount on a flat deck trailer. The DASH 2.6 comes with 150 gallons of total storage across two 75-gallon inductors. One air-diaphragm pump is included for auto rinsing and agitate features.

4.6 dash

CENTER MOUNT

This configuration of the DASH is designed to mount on a flat deck trailer. The DASH 4.6 comes with 300 gallons of total storage across four 75-gallon inductors. Two pumps are included as standard. One air-diaphragm pump for auto rinsing and agitate features, and one high-delivery water pump powered by a 13hp motor with electric start.

4.6 dash

REAR MOUNT

This configuration of the DASH 4.6 is designed to mount on the back of a tanker, flat deck trailer or grain box. It has all the same features of the center mount DASH but with a different frame to support the different mounting. This model includes tail/turn lights, flip down work platform and a license plate holder.

Cage with tote platform

Keep pallets and boxes contained during transport. Access and loading can be done through either end, or the sliding side door. Store totes above on the integrated tote platform. Available in 5’ or 6’ heights.

tote platform

Mounts directly to the DASH. Store chemical totes above the inductors allowing for gravity fill. No transfer pump required. Frees up deck space allowing for more storage.

cargo net

Contain hard-to-strap items such as barrels or boxes under tote decks. Simply remove sides for quick and easy access.

tote rinse kit

An IBC vented lid with internal rinse nozzle rinses totes down upon emptying to ensure complete chemical transfer. Camlock and hose are included to connect to the rinse port on the DASH.

60 gal air storage kit

An additional air tank can be added under a tote deck. This tank has a valve that allows the truck to air up first, before storing an additional 60 gallons of air.

boom kit

No more lugging heavy hoses. The boom mounts directly to the DASH and has approximately 28’ of total extension. Includes boom cradle and quick-release handle.

trailer step kit

Mounts under the lower level of a step-deck trailer, making for safe and easy access to the deck. Includes a grab handle.

working platform

Designed to mount to the DASH 4.2 improving ergonomics, comfort and convenience.

ladder kit

The ladder kit makes it easy and safe for operators to strap down their totes. It includes a storage system when not in use.

4 wheel ramp kit

A set of ramps are available for loading ATVs on the trailer, under a tote deck. Ramps stow neatly away when not in use.

Unit Light kit

Never work in the dark again. Includes mounting post and two overhead LED flood lights.

Jug knife kit

Replaces the standard inductor jug rinse with a jug knife. Includes a patented inductor and jug rinse head. Can be fitted in all four inductors.

chemical transfer pump

Choose between a 20 GMP or 40 GMP air-powered diaphragm pump that is the heart of the rinse and agitate system. The pump is used for rinsing jugs and inductors, as well as getting dry chemicals into suspension. It also controls the hand sprayer and wash down for a complete and easy clean out.

Rear or side refill

The fill manifold is installed on the same side as the ground-level controls. A 3” kit is available for operators who want to refill tanks from the opposite side, or from the rear of the trailer.

Manage up to 3 tanks with a central fill and draw point. 6” or 3” high-flow ports are available for refilling.

deck bulkhead

No more tripping over hoses. Transition 3” hoses from above deck to below deck without restricting flow and easily orient hoses.

boom blowout

A female camlock with a ball valve and an air-purge switch fitted to the end of the boom hose empties the boom hose before it is disconnected from the sprayer. Upon completing a fill, close all inductor valves. Closing the valve on the boom blowout will purge the line and deactivate the air-purge automatically.

auxiliary chemical meter

Inject and meter chemicals from barrels or totes directly into the main water stream.

ratchet straps

This kit includes four straps which will secure two totes. The straps are made to length and are sewn so that the ratchet cannot accidentally separate from the strap, making it easier to tie down totes.

Trailer Lighting kit

This lighting package includes two light posts mounted on the DASH, inductor back-lighting, as well as lights in the cage and under the tote decks.

tote hose

Tote transfer hoses include camlocks to connect to IBC totes and to the DASH inductor, as well as a union valve to control the flow from ground level. Hoses come long enough to reach the rear totes on trailers equipped with two tote decks.

3" Intake Filter Kit

This kit allows for fresh water fills pulled directly from bodies of standing water, like ponds or dugouts.

Cage Tote Transfer Kit

Tied into an additional Air-Diaphragm Pump Kit, the Cage Tote Transfer Kit enables the user to force feed bulk chemicals directly into the DASH chemical mixing system, from below or above deck totes.

Fuel Tank Kit

This 200 gal. fuel tank can be mounted directly on any sprayer tender system, rated with 20GPM, 25ft fuel line, and auto shut-off this is a perfect add-on to keep your generator or auxiliary vehicles running all day or night!

Pressure Washer Kit

Equipped with a 14hp motor, producing 4500 PSI, 3.5 GPM, with 75ft of hose, all while tied directly into the DASH’s fresh water supply, this kit is a fantastic solution for quick clean-up of any implement.

Loading Speed

In a timed study, it took an average of 4.5 minutes from park brake up to park brake down to fill a 1,200-gallon sprayer with 4 different chemicals. Actual loading times were less than 4 minutes. The average reduction in sprayer loading time allows for an additional 320 acres per day, translating to a significant increase in production and savings in equipment depreciation.

chemical seperation

The DASH system was designed with multi-chemical tank mixes and chemical effectiveness in mind. Proper loading order and chemical separation is critical for maximizing the effectiveness of each chemical. The DASH system achieves this quickly, accurately, and automatically by introducing chemicals directly into the water stream while filling the sprayer. The DASH ensures that you receive the maximum benefit from each product used in the application.

ease of use

The DASH makes loading different chemicals a simple, safe, and seamless process. After loading each chemical into its designated inductor and connecting the DASH to the sprayer, chemicals can be loaded individually from centrally located, ground-level controls.

cleaning

During operation, each inductor is rinsed with fresh water by a patented rinse nozzle as it unloads, alleviating chemical buildup on inductor walls.

A more extensive, yet still simple, cleaning process is required when changing chemicals. Fill one inductor with a cleaning agent. Change the rinse pump source to the inductor containing the cleaning agent and upon activating the rinse heads all four inductors are cleaned and rinsed out. The DASH is also equipped with a handheld spray gun which can be used for any type of internal or external cleaning or rinsing.
