On March 26, 2026, PhiBer participated in InFARMation Day at Manitou Elementary School in Manitou, Manitoba — an initiative designed to introduce young students to careers and opportunities within the agriculture industry in Canada.

Representing the manufacturing side of modern agriculture, PhiBer demonstrated how advanced production processes support today’s farmers through durable, high-performance equipment.

Students were guided through key stages of the manufacturing process, seeing how raw materials are transformed into finished components. The session also included a hands-on activity where students built and tested paper airplanes — a simple but effective way to explore engineering principles, design, and performance.

The experience generated strong engagement, with students showing excitement and curiosity — especially when learning about real-world manufacturing facts, such as the extreme temperatures involved in welding.

This marked PhiBer’s first participation in InFARMation Day at Manitou Elementary in Manitou, Manitoba. The event was coordinated by Heather Konrad, who invited PhiBer to contribute.

PhiBer was represented by Ryan Henderson, Manufacturing Engineering Supervisor | Quality at PhiBer Manufacturing, who led the presentation and interactive session.
